I am now (january 2012) living in that housing area and interested in any information about it from US-times. Does anybody post some more details? (The movie theater still looks like on the foto and it still works - with only few people in.)
Well, I have lived in the area for 24 years and I get to Ft. Monroe a lot. The photo was taken from the seawall @ Ft. Monroe, looking S/WEST toward Newport News and the shipyard. It is called the "Engineers Pier."
