E-mail címem: kaprinayeva@gmail.com ________________________________________________________________ I came to New Zealand in 2004 after an unexpected and courageous move. Here, beside writing, photography became my favorite hobby. I'd like to share with those who may be interested some of the pictures taken during this time. I hope you will enjoy them, and thank you for your personal opinions. E-mail: kaprinayeva@gmail.com ______________________________________________________________________

Gyönyörű ez a kép. Egyszerű és mégis megkapó...

Hi Everyone, Just came across this photo and thought I would create an account to comment. We own Lion Island (actually Lion Islets because the island is separated into two at high tide) and also known as Lone Tree Island. The island is named Lion Island after a natural rock formation that looks like an island: http://galianomuseum.ca/new/pages/2004020032.htm. The initial lone tree which was a Douglas Fir has endured years of heavy wind and storms, a lack of water and a lack of soil. In fact, Lion Island has no more than 3 inches of soil anywhere at its deepest point. Another Douglas Fir that is approximately 10 feet now is growing up just beside the old one. There is also 20 foot Gary Oak all around the house which makes for wonderful nesting habitat for birds and wildlife. Feel free to connect with me at mjrg@hotmail.com any time!

Amazing portrait. Like! Best regards, Alex!
