I don't get nostalgic in my photos, other than sometimes showing how an area used to look and how it looks now. See what I see.
New places, old places--sometimes you have to look at the familiar as if you've never seen it before. How would someone who has never been there know what it will look like on their first visit?

You've got a good eye for what may be worth photographing. Obviously, you need to better control your equipment, but at the same time the camera you were using for some shots such as this one has its own creative capabilities--I like the lens flare in this and a couple of the other shots!
Don't hesitate to take lots of photos though. The equipment will let you do it, so take advantage of it.

Almost any of your shots are winners! This is an intriguing photo--why would the lantern be there? At the same time, it really does fit. The shapes of the lantern and the fence go together, and the candle's flame attracts the eye nicely.

Hi, Vy,
This is a great shot (and not because I'm in it). It really gives us the feeling of being in the woods and the activity that might be there. My figure sort of stands out as an important subject, but by making me out of focus, it takes some of the emphasis off me and puts it instead on the mushrooms in the foreground. The mushrooms at the corner of the tree are particular interesting. Good work!
