What I do: Recording a location, as it is, not necessarily creating a piece of art but rather showing its true tenor. Finding some particular beauty in a location and showing it as well as I can. I don't get nostalgic in my photos, other than sometimes showing how an area used to look and how it looks now. See what I see. New places, old places--sometimes you have to look at the familiar as if you've never seen it before. How would someone who has never been there know what it will look like on their first visit? Sounds fine to me!

Back in 1961 during school summer vacation, I camped for a week alone and lived off the land near that location. Camping about 1/2 mile away, on a ridge above the Ware River (branch). The washed out bridge area was an easy place to fish, and it also was a nice place to bring a highschool date.

congratulation and have a nice day for you

best regards from Tiffany Liem

A seasonal farm store that has a small but esoteric selection of goods. You've got your farm fresh vegetables, coffee, ice cream, wine, beer, milk, unusual jams, their own grass-fed beef (frozen), dandelion-burdock soda, local craft cheeses, etc. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

Thank you, Corey. Don't know why I hadn't posted it earlier, but glad you like it.

An amazingly beautiful location! On a hot day, the water coming down out of the White Mountains is cool and refreshing, a great contrast to the heat you experience walking to the view. Note that this is in a fee area ($15 pp in 2013).

It is sort of familiar, isn't it?

Great spot! I thought I had a photo from the area posted but I guess not. Hope you got there when you could do the other cliff hikes without worrying about the peregrine nests.
