I am sure you are rigth. It's always difficult to remember where the photo was taken, when you are home several month later. When I see the photo now I can remember it is not take where I have shown, but maybe you can help me pointing out the specific location. I remember it was at a resting place along the highway
This is an idylic paradise. Soft sand beach and wildlife of every description: Eagles, woodpeckers, geese, ducks, shore birds, deer, moose, beaver, cougar, bear and wolf all visited us, called from the distance or left fresh tracks in the sand very recently.
Idyllic swimming hole. When the river is high, all gravel on the left is flooded, the pool is deep and one can jump into the pool from the top of the rock (4m)or from part way up(2m). The current is strong at those times and one must swim with haste to the rocks on the near right to avoid the waterfall outside the picture on the left.

Nature is meant to be enjoyed up close. Most will get their feet wet in the cold water and a few brave ones will try swimming in the backwater.

Excellent photo of Roche Miette's dominant feature and representative of most of the hiking trail.

Excellent late summer view
