I like the depth of field in this photo, with the path on the right leading you into it. The darkness of the tree's outlines contrasts well with the white snow lying around it in the fields. Also the gate's bars underline the views in the far distance of Leafield's church spire.

Formerly an Admiralty Coastguard Lookout built 1909. Now a Grade II listed building available as holiday accommodation.
Completed in 1897, the lighthouse was automated by 1976, and since 1991 has been powered by solar panels.
