Hi Colin, thanks for the quick response. It must have been a privilege to be inside the village with the athletes! I was just there last week researching my book. Did they have chain link fences up like they did around Canada Hockey Place, or did they have the nice Olympic themed banners covering them? Could regular people walk up and hang out along the security area where the athletes came out? The traffic was so bad on Feb 20th that I couldn't get near the village to check this out for myself. Thanks so much for your help and the great photos. - Kat
Thank you for your kind comments. The Vancouver Olympic Athletes Village occupied a large area south of Flase Creek: boundaries - south: west 1st. Ave. north: water (Flase Creek) west: Columbia St.and east: Ontario St. I was very fortunate to have the privilege to work inside the Village during the Games. Colin
Colin, your photos are excellent. I'd love to talk to you more about your Olympic Village photos as I'm currently writing a book which takes place during the Olympics. I'm having a hard time envisioning what the outer boundaries of the Village were. Thanks so much for all the great photos! - Kat
i love your photo, thank you to share
Thank you Aline. Vancouver is indeed a beautiful city, so is Rio de Janeiro in Brazil! Many of your pictures are wonderful and thank you for sharing them.
This is amazing!
Is this what we take to get to the Zoo?
