Cool. Yeah the other one looked a bit south of the camp and I saw the tent in the top of the shot if it's the one I remember and I suggested it by the white canvas tents. Now that I think about it, I don't even know which meadow is Bearpaw Meadow and I have the map out. This one I think

This was taken North of Mt. Shasta, near the Oregon/California Border. I estimate 50-60 miles from the mountain. (it's a big one - more than 14,000 feet, 4,300 Meters) I have not climbed it and do not plan to!

I was back in Chinese Camp the other day, and you are right - it's gone. I didn't doubt it. Always find it kind of an interesting place to show a bit or rural/historical Ca. to visitors
