Nací en San Germán, Puerto Rico, isla del encanto. Desde siempre he sido amante de la fotografía. Como parte de mi preparación en este campo, estudié en el Instituto Puertorriqueño de la Fotografía. Fuí miembro de la Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales. Durante muchos años me dediqué a bodas, quinceañeros, modelos y grupos familiares, ahora retrato la patria. Durante los pasados cinco años me he dedicado junto a mi esposa a visitar cada rincón de mi isla hermosa. Todavía sé que tengo mucho que aprender de la fotografía, y sin duda alguna, me complace haber entrado a este medio; él me ha permitido conocer mucha gente buena que hoy por hoy los considero mis mejores amigos,.. cuando veo sus catálogos, comprendo que las bellezas naturales están en todas partes del universo. Gracias a todos por visitar mi página,..mientras tanto, yo seguiré buscando ese lugar maravilloso de mi tierra,.. pues, "Cada foto que tomo es la huella que dejo sobre aquello que mas amo,..mi patria!"

Veľmi pekne ďakujem za všetok strávený čas pozeraním mojich fotiek, daním hodnotenia ako aj pozretia mojich článkov alebo videií. Veľmi si vážim toho, že mi panoramio pomohlo spoznať krásu sveta prostredníctvom úžasných ľudí a ich pohľadov na svet. Pre nedostatok času ohodnotím len 1 fotografiu z galérie Like + Favourite a keď mi zvýši ešte čas, vrátim sa pozrieť ďalšie fotky. Bolo by mi však ľúto, keby pre nedostatok času, nikto nevidel moje úsilie z päťdesiatich letných výletov - preto tu je výber toto najlepšieho z leta 2016.

Παναγιωτης Κοντοβουνησιος - Ευχαριστώ θερμά για την επίσκεψη στη φωτογραφική μου γκαλερί και το σχόλιο - Πολλά χαιρετίσματα. Ελπίζω να συναντηθούμε σε κάποιο άλλο ιστότοπο μετά το κλείσιμο του Πανοράμιο. Γράφω πιο κάτω, που δραστηριοποιούμαι.
As human beings, with feelings and mind, I think that we can do some steps ahead.
Personally, these six years, using Panoramio, were really very productive and I learned a lot of things about photography and its techniques, making a lot of friends and excursions with them.
Human contact is more important, than every interactive communication, we know it well, but we also enjoyed our conversations via comments or personnal messages, many times confessing things, that even in our real friends we don’t.
I think this solution is better for all of us. Nobody deserves a treatment, like that one we had last two years. Panoramio itself didn’t deserve a treatment like this!
If Google decided to make a step ahead for earning money, although it was stated from the company that Panoramio should be alive after the results of the first petition, we can do more steps ahead in our real life, making travels and taking photos for our pleasure and for sharing with friends in other sites, whatever they will be. Sometimes money isn’t the real profit. Our common journey through Panoramio was our gain.
Dear friends, we keep our contact via Facebook, 500px, flickr and Ipernity, or something new at the future. I am wishing to all of you, at first good health and all the best on every way you choose to follow.

After a long trip (9 years) with Panoramio,it's time to say goodbye!It was great honor for me to meet many Panoramio friends and with them to share photos of the most beautiful places I've visited and see places I will never be.
