Andy Very very happy you appreciated so kindly and preciously this old image of my beloved ancient arcades(portici) so typical of my city and which Padova is plenty of. I must say, very useful both in winter and is summer!:-) here the climate is typical of Pianura Padana ..a continental one, I mean: with cold , foggy winters and hot damp summers. Most of them go back to the Middle ages and the Renaissance. A part from this, though I've been living here, not since those times but..nearly(LOL), I'm still charmed by them.
