Thank you for visiting my collection. The images are those things which have caught my eye during my activities of daily work, short visits, and routine travels in and around East Texas. It’s the offbeat that draws me; patterns, decay, old buildings, places with historical context, and, overriding everything is the oddity that has become out of place and out of time in the shifting sands of modern society. Enjoy.

Maybe that is how Gold deposits are formed, you might want to buy that plot of land. ;-)

Hello BlakelyLaw ... This a truly great photo ... and should be suitable for GoogleEarth/Maps; did you ask for second review? The bare branches of the tree in the streambed and the mist are eye-catching. Greetings from Downeast Maine, Wally

I like this one particularly. The place is really interesting. Regards, Miguel

Thanks Eva and Corey. This was after dark but sufficient light was available in the sky to give the cloud form as did the lightning flashes inside the cloud. Henry said best...I was in the boondocks headed back to civilization when I saw the storm in the rear view mirror. I stopped in an opening to set up on my ladder/tripod in the back of the truck and enjoyed making several dozen images. This one had the best show.

beautiful picture. halloween says hello.

No, this was across the lake and to the south near the end of the private road off the west entry.
