Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately this is not a Roman bridge. It was built in the late 18th Century and has been widened and improved over the years. Toledo Ohio looks a lot bigger than Axminster Devon. You've posted some great pictures.

Yes I would think so. Apparently the water is too low at present and only small fish are holding in the pools. Once the water rises Sea Trout and Salmon come upstream. I am still trying to find a club to join (all full at present) as access to water is not easy. I will send you a pic of my first fish. I caught a couple on the River Test a few years ago!
