I also was born in Tyllwyn, and served as an apprentice at the steelworks. I also had my first pint of beer at the Morning Star pub, just below Mynydd carn - y - cefn, below the golf links.A group of us would regularly walk the well trodden path on a warm summers evening. Happy days
