This is the fateful iceberg. The picture was taken from the steamer "Bremen" which had passed the area of disaster. At the right edge the berg was touched by the ship and chunks of ice were ripped off. This photograph from april 1912 was detected 88 years after the tragedy.
According the copyright: It has expired in 2005 (70 years after the death of the photographer)
