I have been photographing Oregon since 2001. I mainly do landscapes. They seem to be much easier to work with :) I am drawn to the outdoors because I feel most at peace in nature. I would love to do a book someday. Maybe with a focus on the environment. I believe nature photographers get a front row seat to observe climate change and its tangeable effects on the land. With their cameras ready to record the proof. I feel a need at this time to preserve the land through my photos. Check out my Personel Gallery at http://www.sacred-earth-studios.com

Excellent photo!!! Like - Greetings from Athens.

Wow, just amazing!

This is a Wishrum Tribe (North of Dalles) style Rock Art popular around 2000 years ago. Why a pregnant woman and family were up here was probably collecting and drying local salmon in creek; and they used to make the runs clear up to bates area with all season salmon runs. Why the pregnant woman died will never be known However, I assume her mother and family painted rock white and then detailed red to tell story/Prayers for local spirits to take her and baby straight up to Great Spirit in stars.

A great photo. L+F
In the meantime we know that Panoramio goes on. Please send us more of your lovely photos.

Excellent shot. *Like *

I don't know what more to add, except maybe it's near the top of my 'BL', for places to visit. It is so incredibly beautiful. To be a young man again and hike and climb into those mountains. Just magnificent. Thank you, Kristine, for the share.
