Around 10 years ago, the village was being eroded by weak sea defences!! Several million pounds of funding was obtained from the EU to beef them up!!
Rock armour, massive concrete walls and grading of the cliff slopes with comprehensive draining installed, has stabilised the problem, but for how long?? In the end, nature will win! Thanks for dropping in Peter
