”... even the finest scenery loses incalculably when there is no one to enjoy it with.” Mark Twain, A Tramp Abroad, 1880 Although I only recently read this quote, I think it sums up nicely why I share my photos. Narciso my favorite flower ! Greetings from Sardinia,Roberta

Yes, I suppose it is! I like to look at the detail sometimes, rather than the overall view.

great shot! well done. ~like~ greetings from hamburg, germany

Hi Hank. I think the white one shaped like a baseball catcher's mitt is a museum. The large one behind that is a hotel and casino - if you look closely you can see the casino on the top is made to look like a cruise liner.

As Singapore is an island, it can only grow upwards, unless they reclaim the land from the sea. There seemed to be a lot of construction work going on in the centre.

Thanks Hank. I guess the structure is some kind of fishing apparatus - as you can see from the map, it's right at the mouth of the river.

Thanks Hank, yes - it's a 360. The beach was quite quiet but that was probably because of the strength of the sun. You can see the 360 in action on Panoramic Earth

Thanks both. There are about 270 steps to get up here, no easy task when weighed down with my camera bag! Maybe I should start to travel light.

wonderfull land! wonderfull shot
