Hello timclark, I visited this small island 3 weeks ago and could not see all those buildings shown on your picture. We saw the post-office-hut and a "Nissen"-hut as only buildings on this site. See also http://www.panoramio.com/photo/117819678. Perhaps there are other buildings nearby which we could not see because of fog and snowfall.
Wölfe (Lobos)gibt und gab es nie auf Madeira. Gemeint sind die Mönchsrobben (Lobos marinos), die vor langer Zeit leider aus Unwissenheit sinnlos abgeschlachtet wurden und heute nur noch in geringer Zahl auf den Islas desertas vorkommen. Diese Inseln dürfen nur von Wildhütern und einigen Wissenschaftlern besuchtwerden, um Störungen fernzuhalten.
