Hi Carver17 bedankt voor de reactie, ik had de het eerste commentaar dus ook in het Nederlands kunnen doen. Inderdaad, bovenin de foto ligt de eerste Friesland aan de steiger en daar links van de Noordsvaarder en de sleepboot Stortemelk langzij, de foto maakte ik in het najaar van 1984.
Hi! I think this is a Barred Owl, they are supposed to be common in this area. I saw one in my backyard last year, that was the first time I ever saw one. I'm glad you got a chance to see one too, they are beautiful! You can see mine here. Best Greetings to you!
