Thank you for your help with the position of my iceland pictures!
Capability: A very nice picture. You've located the blue square on Purdue even though the title says Lover's Lane, which is three blocks south. Which is it, anyway, do you think? But the house looks a lot like my uncle's old house at 3464 Purdue.
These Bimbos are a common sight all over Mexico. Bimbo Bread is just what California needs.
BTW this location is just about where the light plane made an emergency landing on 101 (24 Aug 2009)
This is a great picture of the columns beside the border crossing. Do you know anything of their history? I walked across the border into Qamishli in early June 2001 and saw them then. The very nice Turkish commanding officer asked me if they were Persian. I did not know for sure, but I did not think so. What are they?
Very nice flower.
I like it.
Kind regards to you,
This is a better location for this picture and my other pictures of Abuna Yemata Guh.
Yes it was a beautiful day with blue sky. We stopped off at Avebury Ring at sunset and it was beautiful there too.
The Sand Creek site is way out of the way, but at least now it's easy to find. I tried to get there a couple times while it was still private property and failed, but now it's a National Historic Site.
All of my photos are tagged. What tag do you suggest for the photos of the Indian sites? Maybe 'Native American' would be a good one.
Marcus I have enjoyed all the photos of your Greenland trek last summer, especially the ones of the Norse ruins.
Have you read "The Greenlanders" by Jane Smiley? You would enjoy it.
This farm may be the one where the heroine Margret spent the winter of 1385 AD with an old couple.
