:) I was also referring to an American phenomenon which others may not know about, i.e. "George Washington Slept Here". It is common to see these signs posted about the first US President. Thanks for the information about Tom Scribner, Matt and Max. It lends more meaning to the photo for everyone but particularly for me as a photographer, knowing that the shot has elicited a response from viewers.
Alan Ginsberg sat cross-legged on this hill chanting and reading his poetry while surrounded by students in the Spring of 1967.
The gently rounded prominence the photographer stood on to take this picture was named Fanny Hill by students in 1966-67. It was a convenient place to escape the crowded trailers and get some privacy with your boyfriend/girlfriend.
I moved this shot location slightly offshore to make it easier to see. The new blue squares blend in too much with the overexposed sat images of Ios.

By the way, for all you English speakers, "Nachfahren" is German for descendant.
