Landmark? Truly the ugliest buildings in at least The Bronx!

Anne Hutchinson was killed in the Siwanoy Indian raid of 1643. It was her 9 year old daughter, Susanna, who is said to have hidden at split rock. Susanna was ultimately taken prisoner & spent 4 years with the Indians, forgetting how to speak English.

I went to Ridder in the sixties. Fond memories. I played the viola in the orchestra. Mr. Smith was an amazing and no nonsense teacher. A few of us auditioned for Music and Art (I didn't make it). I started viola lessons again in 2012 a lifelong dream. Thank you Herman Ridder for the music lessons.

i believe this building was also used by bronx community college which i attended in 1966 it was close to my house on walton avenue of course when i finally got my schedule all my classes were at the bronx hs of science which was furher away i have forgotten the stop on the 4 train
