We know this waterfall as the Meiringspoort waterfall. We used to swim in the pool below the waterfall when we were children. It is really deep and cold. We jumped of the rocks above the pool. Through the years, the level of water varied greatly.
Hendrik about the Jammersdrift bridge. I went to school in wepener for years & was always late for school when my brother took me on Mondays from the farm.
The amazing thing is that my brother used to somedays reach speeds of 160 km an hour with his Mazda Rotary riding through that bridge. Used to pray alot in those days.
Thanks for this. I'll have a look. Was away for a long weekend and took more landscapes than buildings (as you can see from the photos I started uploading - took more than 300) A bit more attention to camera placement and angle has already helped. Fairly close shote with the wide-angle still distorts, but it getting better. Cheers.
Dis gebou om te hou, né. Ek het lank terug daarnaby gewoon. Ek het ook 'n paar stokhoringoue foto's rondom Port Shepstone opgelaai (110jr), maar die klomp by Panoramio het die kopiereg vreeslik gedebatteer omdat ek nie die foto's geneem het nie. Ha ha.
