Hi my name is Cristie Love and I remembered that I came to Lancaster, Ohio and I visited this pretty nice and fasinating Fountain downtown Lancaster. It is across the street from the Court house. I like to visit this fountain it is nice at night during the summer. It is nice in this city. Well gotta go. God Bless America. I am from Vallejo, Calfornia and living in Casper, Wyoming at the moment and I travelled here since my Aunt Edna lives there. Great Fountain it is pretty. I use to look at it a lot and just stare at it. And there is something I think it shows you.

In 1861 Wells joined the First Vermont Cavalry as a Private and rose to the rank of Brevet Major-General. Promoted more times than any other Vermonter during the Civil War, he participated in over 70 cavalry battles and skirmishes and was awarded the Medal of Honor for “conspicuous gallantry” at Gettysburg. After the war, he became a very successful businessman in Burlington, Vermont, and one of the state's most respected citizens.
