I admired the Bedouin spirit, envied their freedom, and thought modern man could learn valuable lessons from their total independence from material culture.
This was the last mill to serve al-mughayyir, but not the first. The mill shown was moved and served the village until the mid 1945.
The mill was operated for many years by the the village familys.
