Thoese colours of the leaves on the tree. In Australia, our native Gum trees don't loose there leaves like they do where you are. They stay green all the time, but we have many different types of Eucalyptus trees and they all flower at different times during the years. There is always something flowering for the bees etc. Our Karri tree, which only grows in the Southwest of Western Australia, onlt flowers every 4-7 years where it produces nector for bees. It has such a ting little flower the size of your little finger nail, but such tall and huge tree of of up to 220 feet high. Beautiful. They grow just 20 klms from where I live. We never get sick of looking at them. Thankyou for sharing your photos with me. Kind Regards, David.:-)
So nice to see that water running like that. Thanks.
Thats looks so nice. You have some great photos Gaylen. I am still looking throught them.
Greetings from David. Albany, Western Australia
This is not photoshop. It is a hdr picture. I used photomatix
Ah Ha. Good to meet you Gaylen, at long last.
As you Americans would say, " What a hoot ". Really good photo and a Lovely looking family also, that's inspite of the sombre looking faces all of uou have. I suppose that was all part of making the photo shoot as realistic as possible; try to look just like they did back in the mid 1800's eh ?.
We did the same thing at a Western Heritage center up in Logan when we were over last. It was such a lot of fun and you have such a giggle looking at it afterwards just seeing how ridiculous you all look. The little fella on the left really carries it of well. He wouldn't look at all out of place If it was one of them old origional fuzzy, browned out photos. Very believable.
Say hi to the rest of your family from Rob in England.
She might be able to sponser you. I hope I will be able to meet you when you come back. Even if it is just to say hi. That would make my day.
Thanks Gaylen. That picture is one of my favorites. After I took that picture I went back and took many more. I'd like to get a wider angle lens and a higher point of view. I don't know Robert Mcewen. I've got a duck shot a lot like this one... I like yours. Nice to catch a moment like this.
Utah is just wonderful! I loved every minute we were there. The reflection in ths pic is really great. Blessings to you and your family from Tennessee!
