Beautiful place!! Greetings from the province Entre Ríos, Argentina.-
Hello NonoyS, this area has changed a lot since we stayed there in 1993. Would you believe the road to Puerto Galera proper (I see on the map it is the Western Nautical Hwy) was not yet asphalted back then? Just a sandy road with lots of dust. And the White Beach itself was lined with a few nipa huts, that was all. Yet we enjoyed ourselves very much, it was our favorite beach in the Philippines, even more than Boracay.
This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
This is the part of Medio Island facing northwest, towards the White Beach - Abra de Ilog - Lubang Island area.
There are only two islands in Puerto Galera. Medio is connected to Puerto Galera's main landmass through a sandbar. Paniquian (or San Antonio) is where the waters of Muelle Bay (now apparently renamed Puerto Galera Bay) disgorge through the Manila Channel (adjacent to Medio) and Batangas Channel (adjacent to Daluruan, where Buri Beach is, and Behia, where Coco Beach is located).
Beautiful private beaches, one of which is called Haligi (pillar). They are more accessible through outriggers rather than by walking.
this was a bohol-manila flight, only this time it was flying a bit low.
Taken from Metropolis? wow! nice shot!
nice airial shot
