Hello Don, good suggestion. I uploaded another copy with it cropped out. It does look better. Thanks for the tip and compliment!
around 13 years ago. I believe the artist is a local in Carthage, normaly a stone carver, his name is Bill Snow(Same guy that carved the long horn in front of the Stock yards on I 44). My dad would go over to his house and carve stone with him, and he needed a model for that project.
Thanks! This is also an HDR shot. I did spend a little time here. Its a nice place to just sit and think. Good for photos too.
Ron, Thanks for the compliment. There are many photographers pics that I look at and say the same thing. It takes a decent camera and lots and lots of practice. I don't get nowhere near the amount I want or need to improve. I also could use a few more lenses. Where I live its difficult to find good sources to photograph. No beaches or mountains around here.
I love Noel, Missouri.
Gracias, yo amo Noel, Missouri.
Thanks for the compliment Manack. This is an HDR shot and was taken just after all the leaves fell from the trees. There wasn't much color left so thats why I thought it would look better with a little help.
A very bad experience indeed, Tony, especially during winter! We've been without power for about 2 or 3 hours and thought that was terrible, but 5 days.....! That's hard to imagine. Greetings, Anne
Thank you for visiting and digging so deep in my pages, Tony. I'm glad you like this picture.
