My g/g/g/g grandmother was a 17 year old girl here in the 1840's. Not one of her best memories.
She went on to be a great mother to a large family, lived for a time at the Ballarat and Daylseford gold rushesin Victoria, before they became long term pioneers of the Norther Rivers District of NSW near Lismore and raised seven children.She died at Wilson's Ridges near McLean in 1886 aged 60 years..
