Great shot - Hello from Greece

The scene with Rosarita dodging traffic in the Goonies movie was shot at the intersection of 37th Street and Highway 30 (Leif Erickson Drive). The building currently houses the Astoria Coffee Company at 304 37th Street. Except for the paint job, the building looks mostly the same as it did in the movie, including the Lipton's logo above the front door.

Fort Nisqually was an important fur trading and farming post of the Hudson's Bay Company in the Puget Sound area of what is now Washington but in its heyday was part of the HBC's Columbia Department. Today it is a living history museum located in Tacoma, Washington, USA, within the boundaries of Point Defiance Park. The Fort Nisqually Granary, moved along with the Factor's House from the original site of the fort to this park, is a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

These ovens, built of special heat-resistant brick in the late 1800s, were used to carbonize, or superheat, coal from the nearby Colorado Fuel & Iron mines in Coal Basin, south of Carbondale, and convert it into “coke,” a critical ingredient of the process for smelting iron ore in CF&I plants in Pueblo.
