nice photo of one of prestons oldest exits down to the River. As any old prestonian will tell you, just why this city of ours was so well used as fortress place way backin history, from i believe the old public house he three tuns, all roads from this point went down hill, Fishergate being one of them.

Ah , real pleasure to see this photo, this public house was my first start of my legal drinking on reaching 18. At its height was one of most popular pubs for the young, who usually visited for a drink, before hitting the old Top Rank dancing club, and it must be said one of thwaites best mild drink to be had in town

i overlook this church and its splender is captured more at night time in the moonlight, the steeple is close bye the railway line and a constant reminder we are close to home when traveling back into preston by train
