L.s., Ik heb ook een foto van u/je gezien in Barntgum. Ikzelf was daar een maand of wat gelede op verlof en heb toen het beeld van Ids Wiersma gefotografeerd. Ik heb 't op een bepaalde positie in Barntgum gezet waar ik dacht dat het standbeeld stond. Echter ik kan met Google Earth niet dichtgenoeg bij komen om het te verifiëren. The last time I saw Loch Etchacan I was 14 years old (I am now 58 ). With my parents we had spent a rough night under canvas in Glen Derry, left our heavy gear at Etchacan Bothy and struggled through blizzard conditions to Loch Avon and the shelter stone. We met a couple from Belgium and she was petrified by the wind, as we had to go along on all fours, so we accompanied them back to the bothy. Note please that this took place on 6th , 7th and 8th of July 1964. Thank you for the memory !
