The wikipedia page in english (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Rusanov) gives an other place where they found something of this expedition in 1937. that wos near Kolosovykh Island (74° 56'N, 86° 18'E).
Ja klopt. Ietwat atypisch. Berlikum heeft geen middeleeuwse kerk (meer). Heeft er vast ooit gestaan op deze terp die al een paar duizend jaar oud schijnt te zijn. Deze 8 kantige kerk is uit de 18e eeuw. Niet zo ver hier vandaan in St.Annaparochie staat ook een 8 kantige kerk van een eeuw daarvoor (niet zo'n grote koepel)
