Love the sound the boards of weir bridge made as I cycled over them. Shoal of Bream where on the surface to my right. Chub and pike visible in the shallow wier run off to my left.
Many times ive traveled the Stort, but today I followed a footpath across the fields. The hedgerow had many butterflies, and many types of wild flowers.
The Forest keepers are altering the proportion of Pine and Broad leaf trees to encourage diversity. Limited numbers of Pine trees are being felled. Some areas of the woods or temporarily out of bounds whilst forestry is underway.

Heaven forbid that East Molesey, should ever be in London. It’s an insult to Surrey.
Unfortunately Google maps are 5.17” out at the Greenwich Meridian that equates to about 100 meters!!
