Professor retired of Physical Chemistry (UAM). I love to visit small villages and to converse with the locals. My preferred tip: “Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow; Don't walk behind me, I may not lead; Just walk beside me and be my friend (part of the lyrics of a Jewish children’s song and misattributed to Albert Camus).”

Belo trabalho. ● gosto☺ desta fotografia.

Yes, the path looks sreep and loose. I find it is nearly always safer and easier to avoid using this type of path altogether! I fly in by helicopter.

I don't think you or I would warm to him Carlos (if we met him in the flesh today) but he was an aristocrat of his time! He has a better reputation in history than Pedro the Cruel but I think they were actually well suited to each other! I forget what the outcome of their brief alliance was, except that together they won a battle near Logrono.

Best wishes, Andy

(deep breath) ....... I see some fine walking and scrambling country here, especially along the ridge and (having been reliably informed) an epic swim across the legendary River Jubera before emerging on the other side ready to scale the tremendous precipices facing one which are the only way out!

Best wishes, Andy

Phew! But it would make for a very good day out!

I think I would not have gone to the beach!

great photo! LF and Greetings from Jörg

Muchas gracias Macu. Es una gran alegria verte por aquí. Agradezco tu amable comentario.

Thank you very much Andy for the ysl. I like a lot this region of La Rioja. Best wishes, Carlos.

Thank you Andy. Yes, unfortunately there are people who are unaware of the damage they do to paint to this type of monuments. Best wishes, Carlos.

Merci beaucoup Mayaamon.
