Hi Shandro! There are the Southern Carpathians in the picture, as seen from the Oriental Carpathians, from the correct "map location" in the wintertime, with a great Transylvanian fog.

A hundred years ago this valley was the main travel route of the Gwi'ichen people and RCMP from Dawson City to regions far north. The wood and nails in this cross looked quite old. Who is buried here and what did they experience? The Klondike gold rush was probably in full activity at the time this cross was placed. This valley is no longer a trade/police route and is now the place for backcountry wanderers to explore.
