I´m sorry, yes, the right name is "water tower", and the location is correct now. Wichita Falls is a beatiful town!! Greetings
Land of the bigfoot :-)
Impressive shot catching the fire-bomber at the moment it was dropping its load.
In the Lukachukai Mountains on a friend's grazing property. My 4x4's suspension is still in shock, after the ruddy trail into this area.
Looks like a cool slot canyon!
West side of town with the airport runway visible. Looking north at the LaPlata Mountains of Colorado as a backdrop.
Thanks, Kholmes. I really enjoy those mountains alot, from near and far. I's like to climb up onto the Knife ridge someday. I think the other point from Babcock is Mt Moss and Lavendar Peak somewhere thrown in. Must find an accurate map :-)
This is the West Fork of Jemez Creek.
Respectfully, this photo is near Angel's Peak, SE of Bloomfield. Kutz Canyon is in the backgorund.
Nice photo, from the summit. And a dust devil in the distance too! You must be very stealth and bold to climb a peak that is currently off limits. The Navajo rangers/police are far & few, so i'm sure other climbs may be accomplished without hassle on occasion. Great photo!
