Lutz, das glaub ich Dir. Ich hatte bisher keine Zeit aber werde es selber noch mal nachrechnen. Es sind 442 km (Luftlinie vom Nordrand der Hochfläche des Drangajökull (Island) (Höhe: 600-800 m) bis zur Spitze des Gjunnbjorn Fjeld (2690 m Höhe)- und von der Spitze der Berge im Hinterland von Holt (Höhe etwa 600 -800 m) sinds zur Spitze des Gjunnbjorn Fjeld auch 435 km. Die 289 km sind ja nur die schmalste Strand- Strand- Verbindung.

... und bisher kein einziger Kommentar unter dem Artikel. Aber nützt je eh nix. In Gugels Universum sind wir nur ein Stäubchen :-/

This photo certainly deserved my vote in the NPC. We will know tomorrow where it is placed. I am so glad that the grumbling Icelandic volcano didn't spoil this exciting trip. :)

Your sentiment on your avatar has 2 meanings for me, Gudrun. One of them being the Scottish referendum. As an exile Scot for at least 6 generations I wasn't allowed a vote.

Lovely photo here, and of course the snow and ice were at last melting. It was the same in Norway, but not cold. I dipped my toes into water with ice in it. :)
