----- ENGLISH: Zalins is made of Alain G and Alain D. From shared travels, and with the desire to illustrate the city we both live in (Montreal) came the idea of our contribution to Panoramio. Therefore all the pictures you will see here were selected with this goal in mind, and all family, abstractions or subject studies pictures have been avoided. Also, and hopefully, the evolution of our respective techniques will show over time. Another thing worth of mention, the big mouth here is me : Alain D. :D Soon you will also find Alain D under the pseudonym Arr Day at ...

wow! That sounds like the "who is who" of the markets. Some of them i also could photograph. That "Naschmarkt" in Vienna. Or a simple food market in Cannes

indeed, here we have whats left from that roman empire periode when Paris was named "Lutetia".

"Panem et Circensis" - like usual just some years ago.

That is now over ant the circus has moved on the other side of that Sene River. Bastille with its theater.

We walked down from that Place de la Bastille to Pont Austerlitz just to see that Jardin des plantes and these remains of the roman sites.

Was a very exciting tour.

cheers, michael

but you chose not to leave it.

corrected. I thought that address would be visible in that blog openly. Btw, just on Monday we have had a full page article in the paper about Brooklyn and its developement. Guess they are not realy happy with what happens there when talking about Bruce ratner and his project "Barclays Arena".

That is called "Luxus Sanierung" over here and probably a dramatic change for the (soon former) residents.

This is a nice entrance, very simple and humble.
