Hi i hope you are well and that you did the cruise last year we have done two this year and doing the canaries again next year we wanted to go to australia and new zealand but i have t have my knees replaced i'm afraid so we have to delay it. take care Margaret and Roland

See bob&anne powell's photo Seaside Cafe, Weston Super Mare for an almost opposite view. In that photo Steep Holm appears on the left and the light on Flat Holm is just to the right of the cupola of the cafe. Note too the huge expanse of tidal flats off Weston-Super Mare.

Oh yes, Sintra. I had some particularly good ginjinha in a little place near the station there. Once one gets a bit away from the main tourist square locations (See Sintra In Pink) it is a great place.

Ah, I can make out the tunnel stonework in this photo. I had to check one of my old ones to get its position in relation to the houses on top correct to find it again.

That little dog is a Barry Yacht Club club members dog we simply adhore........cute it sure is. He loves sailing too with his life jacket on.

I have explored beyond the ship page of the old Barry site and see the changes here are really drastic. I used to walk across from the Waters Edge to the harp pool going down a few steps it seemed from the road. Now it appears a high wall separated the apartments from the pool. I looked at the pool maintenance. That was a lot of sludge!

I had a great time in Reykjavik went to the Blue Lagoon etc.........and had a Viking meal in a place right by the harbour. Everyone of the place being dressed in Viking outfits serving us with potatoes,fish,etc.........A very interesting area indeed.
