Hello, I did this trip several times in the past Put right now it is not possible for people from other counttries, becase border post have been established here quite recently and the regime of border crossing have beem significantly streghtened. Only citisens of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan can do that. The only possible border crossing for other citizens between KAZ and KRG is AKZHOL on the main road Almaty-Bishkek. i have doubts, but probably it is also possible at KEGEN/SARYTASH at the road Kegen-Tyup at the eastern side of the lake. Through mountains it is not possible.
