My BANK it was I HAD TRUSTS BONDS, a 30 Year to mature at 14.9 % in 2001, and a 15 Year to mature at 7.4 % (Compounded Semi Annually...) BUT THE BANK WENT INTO RECEIVERSHIP and HOSTILE TAKED OVER and FSLIC only paid all we that had these BONDS of GUARENITY Saveings A PITTENCE! My $4,400.00 PAID IN FULL 30 Year, & the $2,000.00 PAID IN FULL 15 year was REFUNDED TO ME a TOTAL of $1,800.00. ALL GAINS DUE from 13 YEARS in CARE OF THE BANK was SEIZED by the OVER TAKER HOSTILE BIGGER BANK and $6,500.00 I HAD INVESTED returned to me, 13 YEARS LATER, $1,800.
Of Course THERE IS NO RECOURSE. BIG BANKS EAT LITTLE BANKS, and LITTLE PEOPLE'S LITTLE MONEY are EATEN ALSO....
