Yeah i've read up on the current situation of this fine and important building, -and its disheartening to say the least. Such an important location in the history of science and the industrial revolution, not to mention a beautiful building and park, either being left to rot, or turned into residence is utterly disgraceful. It should be a museum, but of course, this kind of disregard to our heritage is commonplace in Britain and especially Birmingham.
Thank you for the picture, -i think it's as close as any of us will get to this building from now on...

Hi Geo-Togger. The picture was taken in October 2006. It was early morning and there was a ground mist to about tree top height which just allowed enough sun through to get this image. Thanks for your comments.
