Thanks also for your kind words on my gallery, the Stanage Edge area is a fantastic location for landscape photography, if you get chance to visit. That was the best photo I got on a day that was generally misty and overcast !

Yeah i've read up on the current situation of this fine and important building, -and its disheartening to say the least. Such an important location in the history of science and the industrial revolution, not to mention a beautiful building and park, either being left to rot, or turned into residence is utterly disgraceful. It should be a museum, but of course, this kind of disregard to our heritage is commonplace in Britain and especially Birmingham.

Thank you for the picture, -i think it's as close as any of us will get to this building from now on...
