Hi Jim. Thanks for your interest in my shots of the scene of The Battle Of Hastings. It is quiet surprising that you are able to trace your lineage back that far. Knowing about the Quaife Coat Of Arms would probably help a great deal in that respect I would guess. You could well be right in speculating that the Quaife Coat Of Arms is on display within the Abbey. From memory there is much historic paraphernalia on display within its precincts.
