Just two years ago (2006) this road was unpaved. Now, the moto-taxis have access, and I don't a lot of dirt on my shoes. Canto Grande used to be all dirt and darkness ten years ago. Now its booming with new stores and traffic!
Huge place, like the Walmarts in the US. They sell almost anything. And if you can't find it there, you'll find it at the Tottus across the street. Peruvians call these stores HYPER-markets, instead of supermarkets.
