This building is very important for several reason: This is a School that has about 1000 students that attends 3 times a day. This school is build and paid for by private money, no government help, no foreign help, no NGO help. The children of this village had to walk basically 10 minutes in rain, snow, or hot weather in order to get to another school. This village basically has about 2,000 families living and never had a school, therefore their kids had to attend school in other villages. This school is located in Khala-e-Miakhail in Kabul, Afghanistan. One last thing: this picture is old, after this picture was taken it was painted, and the land was flattened.
