Dear SilverDiver this picture is really fascinating but does not fit the criteria to be in the DESERTS of THE FIVE CONTINENTS locations. Cold deserts such as the Gobi or the North American deserts are ok but not this one so much north or the hemisphere. There is a list of the deserts location accepted in the group's rules. At the bottom of this section you will find a list of all the desertic areas of the five continents that are welcomed. Thanks so much for providing so many beautiful pictures in our group! Victor
Hello Jacques, in 1996 (easter) I made my first miles on a sailboat offshore. It was on board of Mr Big. We went to the isle of Capri and back again. 2002 I' ve chartered Mr Big again. This time for 6 weeks. It was e splendid time. the first two weeks I crossed to Calvi and back. the next two weeks I've surrounded Corsica. The last two weeks of this 6 weeks I've had 5 people with me that needed miles for the Swiss offshoresailingliscence. So we sailed down to Bonifacio - Santa Maria Navarrese near Arbatax(Sardegna) - to the little island of Ustica - Lipari - Stromboli - Capri and back to Elba, a 1005-miles-trip. 2003 I spent some more weeks on your famous ship. In 2002 I decided to buy my own boat and in 2006 April 1. I went to Gruissan (Southern France) to get my brand new SO 45. It is also on charter by SUNCHARTER in Portoferraio. It is called BLUES.
