I remember taking part in the Christmas concert held by the Board school (sites across the road from the church) in the 1960's. Then it was the Sunday School to the Tabernacle Chapel which was also on the opposite side of the road to this Church.
I don't have any photos of the Black Lion to hand but its not a problem to take a couple...now that there are relatively few pubs left in Buckley its now on the to do list.

Two vessels in the lock are BWs tug "Arley" and the crane barge, both based at Northwich depot.
