Ah..the penny has just dropped. When you said 'mariner' I reckon you meant 'marina' . I guess I am just stupid....the Marine pub was the first thing I thought of....beer's getting to me .....I'll get a picture of it.

Thanks for the comment Hadrian. This area of the harbour is now full of pontoons for yachts....must get a picture of it . I don't know about the Marina but the new footbridge across the harbour at the Weatherglass to Fenella Beach was money well spent.
