Amazing art. I never knew this was really made as an art piece. Do you know that it is a serpent of brass/copper on a pole/cross? This is from the Bible, from the Thorah part. In Numbers chapter 21 verse 8 and 9. These verses point to Jesus as the one who rescues from poison i.e sin.

This campsite is called: Autoklub Brozany-Autokempink. (http://www.autokemp.com/camping.htm) We spent a wonderfull summervacation with our kids there many years ago. The place has only changed very little in 15 years. It is just a couple of kilometers off the autobahn E55 between Dresden and Praha. The distance is only a one days drive from Denmark and therefore a real good and cheap place to stop and lay over on the way south-east.
